Dan C. Bussey Award

Dan C. Bussey

This award is named for a remarkable young man, an enthusiastic archer and a Top Bow competitor who began competing with some of the current archers in the late 1990s.

He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed following his parents, Dan G. and Connie Bussey, to Top Bow tournaments where his dad competed. He joined his dad in competitions and earned the friendship and admiration of many in those early days of Top Bow. Sadly, at age 25 in 1999, he lost his life to leukemia.

Buckmasters is proud to honor his memory for these many years.

This year we will be awarding the most consistent archer. The archer who gets the highest target hit percentage overall but must have competed to at least Round 8.

Follow below after Round 8 to see who will win this prestigious award.
