Sheila’s Grape Salad

Sheila’s Grape Salad

By Steve Hall

Sheila’s Grape Salad is a fresh summer dish. It is a great treat to bring to a get together. There is something funny about this recipe. Even though you use grapes, the taste will remind you of a caramel apple from the fair!

Ingredients:

• 3 cups seedless red grapes

• 3 cups seedless green grapes

• 1-8 oz package of cream cheese

• 1 cup light brown sugar

• 1 cup chopped pecans

• 1 tbl vanilla

Cooking Directions:

Clean and rinse off about 6 cups of seedless grapes. We like to use 3 cups of red and 3 green. Soften your cream cheese in the microwave. Mix in your brown sugar till smooth. Add your pecans and vanilla and mix well. Stir in all your grapes till all the grapes have the mixture on them. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour then serve. The taste reminds me of caramel apples.
