A southern treat that is fast and easy. When your hunters come in and smell this cooking in the cabin you will hear someone say..."Where's the ice cream!"
Ingredients:
• 1 1/4 lb. stick of butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup milk
• 1 cup self rising flour
• 1-19 oz can of peaches in heavy syrup
Cooking Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350 with the stick of butter in the dish your going to make your cobbler in. In a bowl mix your sugar and flour then mix in your milk. Drain 1/2 of the syrup out of the peaches then pour the peaches into the dish on top of your melted butter. Pour your milk, sugar, and flour gently over the peaches. Cook your cobbler on the bottom rack of the oven for 30 minutes then move the dish to the top rack for the last 30 minutes. When you move your dish to the top rack sprinkle some sugar on top of the cobbler. Serve warm with ice cream.
