Try my uncle Bob's quick chili for a hunting camp warm up. I love quick and easy recipes that taste great. There are a lot of chili recipes out there but none so fast that taste so good. Get the crackers!
Ingredients:
• 1 lb. ground venison
• 1 medium onion (chopped fine)
• 2 tbl garlic powder
• 1 can tomato soup (10.5 oz.)
• 2-1 lb. cans of kidney beans (juice and all)
• 2 tbl chili powder
• 1/4 cup brewed coffee
• salt and pepper
• hot sauce
Cooking Directions:
Brown meat with your onions and salt and pepper to taste. Pour into large sauce pan and add all the other ingredients and bring to a simmer. Pour in about 1/4 cup of coffee until you get a nice chili thickness. The coffee brings out all the flavors. Serve with sour cream, crackers and a sprinkle of cheese... Every time you put it in the fridge and heat it back up it gets better!
