Quick Bar-B-Q Ribs

Quick Bar-B-Q Ribs

By Steve Hall

If you want some tender, delicious, bar-b-q ribs in just 2 hours flat, try my Quick Ribs. Make the ribs ahead of time at home in just 1 hour and take them to the hunting camp and pop them on the grill for 1 hour...done!

Ingredients:

• 1 or 2 racks of baby back ribs

• 1 onion

• 2 tbl garlic powder

• 1 tsp salt

• 1 tbl pepper

• 1-32 oz container of beef broth

Cooking Directions:

Cut your ribs out of the vacuum bag saving the juice. Remove the membrane off the back of your baby back ribs. It is easy to grab with a paper towel. Fill a 8 quart cooker 1/2 full of water. Pour the rib juice ( yes that is the bloody juice in the bag your ribs came in ) into your water along with the beef broth, quartered up onion, and all the seasonings. Drop in your ribs. Bring everything to a boil then reduce to a low boil for 1 hour. Take the ribs out while they are still hot and rub rib-rub on both sides, then wrap in aluminum foil, then put them in the fridge. When your ready to serve ribs just pop them on the grill for 1 hour. Make sure your heat is off to one side so you don’t burn the ribs. At this point you can brush them with bar-b-q sauce and sear them a bit or serve then as is with your sauce on the side. Tender ribs in 2 hours!
