Chocolate Gravy and Biscuits are so good! I am from up north so I never heard of this till I moved down south. You butter up a biscuit and pour this chocolate gravy over them and you will make this every Sunday.
Ingredients:
• 1 cup self rising flour
• 2 1/4 cup sugar
• 2 rounded tbl un-sweet cocoa
• 1 cup whole milk
• 3 cups water
Cooking Directions:
In a large sauce pan mix up your flour, sugar, and cocoa. Add your milk and water then move to the stove. Cook over medium high heat stirring constantly. Cook the chocolate gravy till you reach a slightly thick consistency then remove from heat. The gravy will get slightly thicker as it cools. Pour it over hot buttered biscuits and enjoy. You can also add 1/4 cup of peanut butter when it is almost done to get a peanut butter cup taste. Try it and you will be hooked. Kids love it too!
