Bunny Burgers

Bunny Burgers

By Steve Hall

Bunny Burgers are just flat out delicious. Bake up a couple of rabbits and make these for the kids. The next time you ask the kids to go small game hunting, trust me on this, they will be the first ones in the truck.

Ingredients:

• 1 package of rabbit

• 1/2 cup flour

• 1 small onion

• salt & pepper

• onion powder

• garlic powder

• butter

Cooking Directions:

Take one rabbit and season with salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder. Bake at 250 in the oven covered with aluminum foil for about 5 to 6 hours. Remove the meat from the bone. Take one cup rabbit meat at a time and mix in 1/8 cup flour and 1/8 cup onions with 1 tbl soft butter. Mix and press together to make two patties. Repeat the process because you will want more than 2 bunny burgers! Brown in a pan with 50/50 oil and butter. Remove the burgers from the pan and place on paper towels for one minute. Serve on buttered buns with chips and pickles. Talk about a happy meal!
