Antlerless deer license applications open July 10

The application schedule for antlerless deer licenses opens July 10 for residents and July 17 for nonresidents. The first round of unsold applications opens for sale August 7, and the second round opens August 21.

Turkey hunting applications on sale through Aug. 1

The fall turkey hunting application period which opened July 1, will be available through Aug. 1.
A total of 51,350 licenses are available, including 4,650 general licenses and 46,700 private land licenses. Michigan’s 2017 fall turkey season runs Sept. 15 to Nov. 14.
