Antlerless permit application period now open

Antlerless applications are being accepted until June 15 for hunting cow elk, cow moose, doe deer and doe pronghorn in Utah.
Applications will be accepted online.
Applications must be submitted through the website no later than 11 p.m. June 15 to be included in the draw for permits.

Third consecutive harvest record set for spring turkeys

Hunters reported harvesting 4,175 wild turkeys during the 2017 regular spring and junior hunt turkey seasons. The harvest was 8 percent higher than 2016 (3,874), marking the third consecutive record harvest in the state.

Statewide deer harvest down 11 percent

Results of the 2016 Deer Hunter Survey indicate the statewide harvest of deer decreased about 11 percent last season, not surprising given the poor hunting conditions last fall.

New CWD cases found in Pennsylvania wild deer

New tag requirement in place for deer season 2017
