The 2022-23 hunting licenses for Pennsylvania hunters will go on sale June 13 at various vendor locations across the state. Locations include the Game Commission's region offices and headquarters and the website www.HuntFish.pa.gov. Click here for more information.

The Antlerless Deer License application schedule dates are July 11 for residents; July 18 for nonresidents; August 1 for unsold, first round; August 1 for unsold, second round; and Sept. 15 for over-the- counter sales for WMUS where licenses remain.

Hunters must purchase a 2022-23 general hunting license before applying for an Antlerless Deer License. They must be mailed in the official pink envelopes to a county treasurer on the corresponding dates.

If ordered online, it may take up to ten business days for the hunting license to arrive. For assistance call (800)838-4431.

For the 2022-23 deer hunting seasons, properly licensed hunters can hold up to six unfilled antlerless deer tags at a time. Learn more here.

An important reminder for those making an antlerless license application who support modernizing and simplifying this process, is to ask your state representative or senator to support Senate Bill 431, which would allow licenses to be purchased at any issuing agent in the state, as well as online. Starting June 13, interested hunters can also apply to hunt elk during Pennsylvania's early archery, general firearms or late seasons. Each application costs $11.97. Deadline to apply is July 31. Learn more about hunting elk in Pennsylvania here.
