Nebraska deer harvest up 11 percent so far

Total deer harvest in Nebraska is up 11 percent compared to this time one year ago.
As of Dec. 8, nearly 50,000 deer have been harvested, compared to 45,000 in 2014 and 42,500 in 2013.
The biggest change is the mule deer buck harvest of 8,307 – up 1,200 from 2014. That is an increase of 17 percent from last year and 25 percent from 2013.

73,399 deer checked during Ohio gun season

Hunters checked 73,399 white-tailed deer during Ohio’s 2015 deer-gun season, Nov. 30 through Dec. 6, a significant increase over the 2014 harvest of 65,484 deer.

Missouri firearms deer harvest total increases

Preliminary data shows deer hunters in Missouri harvested 189,938 deer during the November portion of fall firearms deer season, Nov. 14-24. Of the deer harvested, 92,020 were antlered bucks, 21,256 were button bucks, and 76,662 were does.
