TenPoint Titan SS

Industry leader, TenPoint Crossbow Technologies, unveiled its new Titan SS at the January 2016 ATA Trade Show. A top-to-bottom makeover of the company’s all-time best-seller, the new Titan SS will shatter the sales records of TenPoint’s longstanding line of top-selling Titan models, according to TenPoint CEO, Rick Bednar.

“Once we shouldered the first prototype, everyone involved in its production agreed that this crossbow was special.” Bednar said. “The Titan has been our best-selling model for nearly fifteen years. This version is the best ever in all ways imaginable. It looks and feels better; and it is easier to handle, more maneuverable, and faster – changes we believe will extend the model’s incredible run for years to come.”

The affordably priced Titan SS features TenPoint’s new Fusion S stock. Configured with optimal comb-height and a two-position adjustable butt plate to match the shooter’s length-of-pull, the Fusion S stock, made from PolyOne OnForce, employs strategically placed cutouts in the fore-grip and butt stock to reduce weight and improve handling and balance. The fore-grip cutouts also allow shooters to wrap their thumb and fingers “into” the grip. This feature and the glass-reinforced nylon safety wings located on the stock above the grip both help to keep the shooter’s fore-grip hand safely below the arrow flight deck.

The Titan’s 175-pound bow assembly measures 18.5-inches when cocked. Its new, fully machined aluminum riser with two large weight-reduction cutouts is fitted with 13-inch HL Limbs powered by XR wheels and DynaFLIGHT 97 string and cables - all mounted to a 19.5-inch barrel.

Once assembled, the Titan SS is 35-inches long, weighs 6.7 pounds, and shoots up to 340 feet per second. That is 3 inches shorter, a ½ pound lighter, and seven FPS faster than its Titan Xtreme predecessor.

The crossbow comes standard with TenPoint’s 3x Pro-View 2 Scope, and, like all TenPoint crossbows, it features TenPoint’s patented DFI (Dry-Fire-Inhibitor) and T3 auto-engaging safety trigger.

Available with or without one of TenPoint’s two patented cocking units, the ACUdraw or ACUdraw 50, the Titan SS is double-dip fluid imaged in Mossy Oak Treestand.

Last year’s Titan didn’t come with the side-mount quiver bracket.

It is available as a complete package that includes the scope, cocking mechanism, three Pro Elite carbon arrows, and quiver, or as a “skinny” package that only includes a 3X Multi-Line Scope and quiver.

MAP: $599 skinny package, $699 complete package with no cocking mechanism, $799 complete package with ACUdraw 50, $899 complete package with ACUdraw.

TenPoint Crossbow Technologies is 100% USA owned, operated, and all of its crossbow models are manufactured in Mogadore, OH.
