The all-new 2016 Yamaha Wolverine R-Spec boasts a new nimble chassis with a compact design, look and feel, a comfortable and secure cab with seating for two, Yamaha’s proven core technologies, and overall superior handling and durability with industry-leading suspension adjustability.
The Wolverine is made for navigating tight, technical trails and challenging terrain with Yamaha’s industry-leading Ultramatic transmission, On-Command four-wheel drive system, Electric Power Steering (EPS) and a new double overhead cam (DOHC) 708cc engine with optimized torque, power delivery and engine character.
The Wolverine R-Spec’s long-travel suspension with KYB piggyback shocks features 9.7 inches of travel in front and 10.6 inches of travel out back – more suspension customization than any other model in its class.
The Wolverine’s aggressive new styling creates a nimble and compact-feeling chassis designed to maximize rider visibility on expedition-length adventures thanks to the 9.7-gallon gas tank. The cargo bed is a lightweight, durable injection-molded composite with six steel tie-down points and rated to haul up to 300 pounds of gear and supplies, and the two-inch receiver hitch is rated to haul an additional 1,500 pounds.
The Wolverine R-Spec is available in Steel Blue, Hunter Green and, for the first time ever featured on a SxS, Realtree Xtra Camo. MSRP for non-EPS models starts at $12,199 and EPS models start at $13,199.
