Answering the needs of tactical carbine shooters, the TRUGLO OMNIA Series of tactical rifle scopes now includes a new 1-8x24 model. These low-power, variable scopes excel at fast acquisition of near-field targets, but also feature a ballistic-calibrated reticle and adjustable magnification for longer distance shooting at maximum magnification.
The OMNIA scope is now available in three versions: 1-4x24, 1-6x24, and the 1-8x24. All models include a detachable Quick-Zoom Lever for rapid transitions between magnification levels, even when wearing gloves. Each also includes a one-piece machined Picatinny rail mount that is ideal for AR-15 platforms. All are constructed from a one-piece aircraft-grade aluminum 30mm main tube and use multi-coated lenses for optimal clarity and contrast in low-light conditions.
Inside the OMNIA scope is the TRUGLO All-Purpose Tactical Reticle (A.P.T.R.). The illuminated, glass-etched A.P.T.R. combines several targeting methods in a single, clutter-free configuration. A large 12-MOA illuminated “peep ring” is designed for quick sight alignment on near targets.
Centered within the peep ring are illuminated crosshairs optimized for a 50/200 yard zero (based on 55-grain XM193 ammo). The top of the crosshair provides a point-of-aim at 100 yards with the remaining subtensions calibrated for 300, 400, 500, and 600-yard bullet drop compensation. The scopes feature 1/2-MOA locking target turrets with slip-turret caps for a quick return-to-zero.
